This new updated version of the Blue Ice Choucas Harness is a classic lightweight mountaineering design.  Great for many particular mountaineering and ski mountaineering adventures where the risk of a fall is low and rappelling will be minimal, but you still want to rope up for safety.  Designed for basic to moderate glacier travel and snow climbs, and technical scrambles and moderate alpine rock routes with only a short rappel or two involved. (Please be aware that this style of harness can be problematic for full-on nature calls as there is no drop seat buckle in the back and the leg loops are not fully removable like more full-featured harnesses, and so the harness will need to be removed and may not be appropriate for some users.  Although you are still able to put this harness on and take if off without removing things like boots, crampons, and skis).
